Educational Qualification:

1. Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics)

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience: 03 years experience of analytical methods / research therein in the relevant field.

2. Senior Scientific Officer (Biology)

Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Human Biology or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.

Experience: 03 years experience in analytical methods/research therein in the relevant field.

3. Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry)

Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.

Experience: 05 years experience in the field of Chemistry or Toxicology.

4. Senior Scientific Officer (Documents)

Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Computer Science or Forensic Science with Physics or Chemistry or Forensic Science or Computer Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent OR

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent.

Experience: 03 years experience of analytical methods/research therein in the relevant field

5. Senior Scientific Officer (Lie-Detection)

Master’s Degree in Psychology or Criminology from a recognized University or equivalent

Experience: 03 years Research/Analytical experience in Applied Psychology or Criminology/Crime Investigation.

Required Age Limit:

Public Prosecutor 35 years

Assistant Public Prosecutor 30 years
